UD students and employees can download Office using the Microsoft Office 365 Portal, App Store (Apple iOS devices), or Google Play Store (Android Phones).

Students may continue to use Office as long as they remain enrolled in classes at the University, and employees may use the software as long as they are employed at the University. With A3 licensing, fully matriculated students as well as most employees can download Microsoft Office at no charge.
The resulting page will show which license you have been assigned.
After logging in, in the upper-right corner, click your icon or photo. The following steps will help you identify which license you are currently assigned. If you are unsure of your assigned license you can check by following the instructions below. These groups are determined by your currently active status in the HR or Registrar systems. These are generalized groupings and may not be comprehensive of every situation. To inquire about these options submit a request. Other licensing: other licensing options are available for a fee. By default the following groups are generally assigned the following licenses:Ī3 licensing: UD students, faculty, and exempt and non-exempt staffĪ1 licensing: miscellaneous wage, non-university employees, adjunct faculty, visiting scholars, etc. The University of Delaware has several license types for the Microsoft Office 365 for Education program. Please read each license carefully to understand what products you will have access to under these new licenses. This new structure means new and different access to Office 365 applications for a variety of users at UD. It is expected to be re-activated after 2FA is extended to students.As of February 1, the University of Delaware’s licensing structure for the Microsoft Office 365 for Education program has changed. Due to security concerns, MS Forms has been temporarily deactivated for students. For non-account related issues with the Office 365 software products (e.g., Excel, Word, SharePoint, Teams, Sway, etc.), students should contact Microsoft Office 365 University support at (866) 425-3959 SF State provides support for Student email and other account related issues. Student employees granted an email address must use the employee work at home program to obtain software. If you are not directed to SF State's login screen, please contact the ITS Service Desk for assistance: Notes: It should then redirect you to the SF State Global Login screen, where you can sign in with your SF State ID and password. Please enter your SF State email address in the box provided. Follow the instructions to install the software.At the homepage, select Install Office (top right).Click Office 365 at the top left of the window.Mac users: Make sure your computer is fully patched and all Apple updates are installed before beginning the installation process.Students enrolled full-time or part-time in a degree granting program at San Francisco State University (i.e., matriculating students) are eligible for a free copy of Microsoft Office 365 Education for Students.
